The main Dublin Tourist Office is located
on Suffolk Street, Dublin 2, telephone 01 605 7799 and this
is just off the main Grafton Street shopping area. It is open
from 9 am.- 5 pm from Monday to Saturday. There you can find
a range of leaflets and information, make reservations for
many events, get info on transport and so on. They can also
arrange accommodation, car hire, book tours etc and they have
a shop selling maps and guides.
Another usefully located Tourist Office is
at 14 Upper O’Connell Street and again it has an extensive
range of information features and can book you on almost any
tour, hotel, etc. It also has a range of interesting leaflets
on events both in and outside Dublin.
Other Tourist Offices are at Baggot Street
Bridge, and the Ferry Terminal at Dun Laoghaire Harbour and
Dublin Port
You can get a three day Dublin Pass at any
tourist office for €29 but be warned it does not cover
any transport but does get you into many many attractions
and gives you discounts for many other things.
